MODERN USAGE: A great side table or desk. The simple lines and design of this piece are what make it timeless.
ANECDOTE: Knoll Furniture may have been founded by Hans Knoll in 1938, but it was his wife, architect and furniture designer Frances Knoll Bassett, that directed the furniture company towards the modernist Scandinavian style that made it famous. Over 100 mid-century designers, including: Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Harry Bertoia, Frank Gehry and Maya Lin contributed designs. The Wassily Chair by Marcel Breuer, the Hardoy chair ("Butterfly chair") by Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy and The Domus chair by Ilmari Tapiovaara are a few iconic Knoll pieces that have become historic representations of the era.
NOTE: These pieces are vintage and although we pride ourselves in hand picking the best possible antique pieces, they all will show "character marks", minor dings and dimples acquired over years of service.
