Product details

Our vintage postcards of Paris, France are historical photographs that capture not only French history, landscape and architecture, but the sentiment of the written word. We believe it will thrill you to read what people wrote about their experiences of the French monuments and cityscapes we still marvel at today. Many of our postcards have cancelled stamps dating them between 1910 and 1920. Beautiful penmanship, the art of Calligraphy of a time long gone...

We frame each postcard so that both the front and back are visible and can be hung from either side. Framed Size 15" x 15." Full custom framing is also available upon request. Collages are a standard option to create larger art pieces.

Click on the “art framing options” link on the left for a detailed description of our framing standards, and for pics of our moldings and matting selections. Click below for pricing.

Postcards are memorabilia of a time past, dreams come and gone, families separated and reunited, lovers longing for each other, sons and daughters remembering...
We frame our pieces front and back, so that you may see both sides of the piece- the picture on the front and the historical message handwritten on the stamp side. They will fit any decor.

A Certificate of Authenticity is provided and is standard with each Vintage Piece.
NOTE: as with most of our categories, we have hundreds more of these pieces in stock and can even source any particular image you may need- we've worked with collectors across the globe for decades! Make sure to contact us if you are not finding the perfect piece for your particular room or design project in our selection.
